Birú Pacha is a micro business dedicated to empowering indigenous artisans, including Bacilio Sairitupac, Fortunata Huaman, and Luz Merissa Vargas. We are committed to provide unique handmade eco-friendly pieces.
In Quechua, native Andean language, “Biru” is a pre-Hispanic variant of spelling for Peru. “Pacha” is a concept of time, space, place, and the spheres of the cosmos at this moment.
Birú Pacha is the timeless essence of the past that continues to remain with us in the present.

At an early age, Luz Merissa learned to work hard to help her family in her small town in the Andes of Peru.
Her passion for nature and art embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, establishing her own small business called "Birú Pacha," where she creates and sells exquisite handcrafted jewelry.
During the pandemic, Luz Merissa had the opportunity reach out to gifted indigenous artisans and collaborate to expand her collection to include a wider range of meticulously crafted, high-quality items, all while staying true to her passion for promoting the beauty of handmade treasures.

A Master Weaver from the community of Chincheros, Cusco.
Fortunata's weaving journey began at the tender age of 12. With unwavering determination, she has diligently preserved the rich art and intricate techniques of weaving, passed down through generations.
